2025 Rates

None of us knew in January 2020 that our world would change,  seemingly sending us into a tailspin.  Which by the end of that year proved to be the worst year in 49 years of being in business.  A lot of decisions had to be made including of course, how will we sustain this downturn and how long will it last.  One of the first choices we made was not to take the ‘free’ government PPP program because I felt strongly it would go against what I believe and also who Orchard Inn is,  and what all of our guests would expect from us.  Why take your hard earned tax dollars to support a small family owned business that God has blessed for half a century?  Who are we going to trust to provide for us if it’s not God?  We pledged allegiance to our almighty God!  A year of patiently waiting had us wondering if we made good choices.  As it turns out,  2021 was by far the best year Orchard Inn has ever experienced and along the way as we watched you support us.  Month after month we asked ourselves a few times if this is truly Gods favor on this small Lancaster County Inn.  It brought all of us to another level of gratitude to all of you because we don’t know about tomorrow.  It forced us to appreciate what we have today. Phyllis and the staff turned it up a notch as well,  making your stay cleaner and of course listening to your suggestions along the way.  The staff at Orchard Inn is top notch as you all know,  always working to make your vacation pleasant and stress free,  perhaps making you ‘feel at home’.  Orchard Inn would not be what it is without the ‘innkeepers’ that love to serve you. Thank you for choosing Orchard Inn as your vacation spot in Lancaster County.  And to all of our friends that have experienced loss of close acquaintances because of COVID or other illnesses please know that we care.  Please let us know what we can do to ease the pain of your loss!  We have a lot of optimism for 2022….because we know who to trust.

Faithfully, Mahlon Stoltzfus, Son of owner Susan Stoltzfus and the Orchard Inn Staff.
